Mary has wanted to be a veterinarian since kindergarten, inspired by James Herriot and a love of animals. She received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and went on to Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Mary entered small animal practice where she has been ever since.
After over 20 years in practice, Mary discovered a calling for end of life care. She believes one of the most beautiful and caring things that we can do for our pets is to help them pass peacefully. To be part of a family’s last moments with their pets is truly an honor. The memories and love that are shared are a gift that make this difficult moment a beautiful tribute to a life well-lived. Mary is grateful for families allowing her into their homes and opening their hearts as they give a beloved pet a peaceful death at the end of their journey.
